    AUDITIONS for “What A Difference A Day Makes” A new 1950’s Musical Revue directed by Eugene Fleming and Robyn Mitchell

    What A Difference A Day Makes offers an incredible opportunity for local singers/performers to be part of the original cast of a new 1950’s music revue, as well as to work with Broadway veteran Eugene Fleming (A Chorus Line, Fosse). The show highlights iconic 1950’s songs and dances as the characters travel thru one 24-hour moment in time.

    Cast Requirements: 4 Men and 4 women ages 18 & up

    16-32 bars of a suggested song listed below or one of your own choice that shows your vocal range and ability; an accompanist will be provided, so please bring sheet music. Wear comfortable clothing for a movement portion of the audition. Some cast members will be featured dancers as well as singers. One male performer will play guitar for one song.
    Suggested songs, men: Teddy Bear, You Send Me, Too Marvelous, Since I Don’t Have You
    Suggested songs, women: Sweet Old-Fashioned Girl, Fever, Cry Me A River, What A Difference A Day Makes

    “Each year the HSO opens our doors to the entire community for a FREE Family Concert, in which we present a symphonic program tailor-made for young people. We are delighted to partner with innovative puppetry of Huntsville M.E.T. with support from Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theatre for this especially fresh performance of a perennial classic, Prokofiev’s colorful Peter and the Wolf. Fun, FREE activities for the whole family will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the concert hall lobby.”
